I have looked several times under my car and my exhaust guy couldn't even find it. I have also looked under my buddies 01 E430 and I again had no luck. The front is easily found and I have been told from other forum members there is a rear sway bar. Does anyone know the size of the rear sway bar or the part #? Or a picture would really help.
Thank you
Mario

I know what you're talking about. In order to see your rear sway bar, it has to be jacked up in the rear or on the lift. It's right in front of the rear differential gear and sits right above it, if I remember correctly. Since I was trying to inspect my bushing on the rear sway bar since I get occassional loud banging nose when i hit a bump or turning up on a driveway ramp. I hope that help find your answer where the location of the RSB.

I will check it out. Would you happen to know what size in mm it is? H&R makes one in 20mm.
I was kind hoping I was missing the rear sway bar because even after lowering the car it still handles poorly. I thought installing a rear sway would make my car understeer less.
Thank you for you help

On those headlights you have there, I like them. Did you have any lighting problem with those projector lens. For some reason i was reading about them that the light beam is poor. how are yours? Since i've been thinking about buying one.

The lights are very nice but you have to have a lot of patience with them. I had to use different screws and washers to make them fit and align up properly.

As far as the projector lens, I had to buy new lenses. I think they came from the new W211 lead lamps. Luckily I was able to get help from a board member named Zam. It took about 6 hours total to do the whole job and that's including resealing the lights. After replacing the lens I can see 75% better and next week I'm going to the new D2S bulbs which should increase my vision buy 20%.

This is my experience with H. I. D. not sure if there is any problems with the halogen.

Thanks Rich for you help.
So if the back is already 20mm what is the point of going with after market bars, because the H&R's are 20mm also?

Did you get my text?

We 430 guys would benefit more on this upgrade than you 55 folks. It may also be a good compliment to the ones using the H&R springs already.

Yes, received ur text...haven't heard from him as of yet.

I wonder if there is a rear bar that is thicker than 20mm out there?
That guy is very hard to get a hold of.

Actually just got off the phone with him, he's recently back from a biz trip in Taiwan...so they're readily available. I'll probably hookup with him on Sun. so let's touchbase on Sat. to confirm.

He screens his calls so he says...not worth leaving a message.

Yo...I ain't driving all the way to Ojai tho :p

I'll meet you and buy you lunch. I can't even get into Ojai right now, too much traffic. They are worried the mountain is going to fall. There is only one lane for both directions. Can you send me some pix of your carbon pillars, maybe some close ups.
Thanks, have you called Zam? He is ready to help you with the lights. Can't wait to ge my D2S bulbs, did you change your bulbs to D2S when you went with the Depot projectors?

Good stuff

Oh...now I see the need for the upgraded sway bars, need that extra edge to dodge falling debris :p

Haven't had the opporunity to give Zam a jinggle, my e-ride is at Calabasas Motorcars for warranty work anyhow.

I'm currently still using the aftermarket Hella H7 HIDs

Check the archives, I recall there's pic of my "B" CF pillars on the W210 forum.
