W211 Amg brakes on W210

I think its possible go to W203 forum a guy fited those brakes on his W203 so if W203 brakes fit our W210 the W211 AMG should fit ours W211.

More Info:

Shine:

**SL55 brake is standard in 14mm holes while W203/W209 is 12mm, You've to re-drill all the holes to 14 mm

The dealer spare all the converters w/pre-drilled 14mm holes as part of the package , so no bothering at all

What else I saw there, the mechanic slightly cut off the rear dust hood in order to fit the rear 330mm disc.
They did alignment after kits was bolt on.

BTW, Hubert, I think the W203 only had C32 brakes installed...that should be a direct bolt on. SL/E55 brakes have a lot more pistons, hence the C230's smaller master cylinder might have issues...not sure about the ones on your 320 which should be a heavier duty one.....

Considering that W210 AMG E55 brakes are probably more powerful than W211 AMG brakes it sounds like a silly idea.

Are the W203 amg ones "bolt on" for the W210 or do they require some modifications?

Thanks

Why would somone want an inferior W203 AMG brake when the W210 AMG brake is one of the finest pieces of equipment ever developed.

This POT quest is childish .... look at the square inches of contact area.

Cuz people upgrade their brakes for both performance AND looks, the W210 E55 brakes just don't fit the bill.....

Is the rotor installed correctly?
For my understanding, they should be changed to opposite side.

There are no "sides" on OEM cross drilled rotors from Mercedes. They are all the same. Please search the forums for further information on this.

I've been wondering if he was referring to the direction of the holes or the position of the calipers - ours are on back, whereas the 209 is in front. (i.e. trailing vs leading, push vs pull etc).......

Yes, I mean the direction of the holes on the rotor.
Sorry, I don't know it doesn't matter for OEM.
Please ignore my stupid!
