Cup holder revisited
Does anyone have a better solution than this pitiful factory example of "how not to design a cupholder"?
This thing is flimsy, clumsy, awkward, and down-right embarassing.
By now, ther must be an alternative that others find acceptable.
Any legitimate insight would be greatly appreciated as I am about to rid my car of this contraption by means of physical force and bad language.

So?......
I've figured out how to remove the "how-not-to-make-a-cupholder" cupholder.
Just knowing that it can be removed and thrown out the window at 60+ MPH is some satisfaction. It would be more if it were to collide with the face of the insane, over-paid, numbskull of an engineer that designed it before coming to rest on the center of the freeway to be crushed by thousands of Hondas, Nissans, Toyotas & the like.
Ah, but I digress....
Is there a known alternative to this thing once removed? (that doesn't consume more calories than it can support!)
I have a rather large coffee mug that I use daily. It would be beneficial & convenient for the 210 to have a home for this 'barrel of java' other than all over the floor, seats, console, etc.
Does ANYONE have ANY alternatives? I'm getting desperate without my regular dose of caffiene.

Have you tried putting your drink into the hole that is there after you remove the cupholder? Sometimes it fits better.

Although I do not have any problems with my W210 cupholders, my alternative beverage holder is certainly better.... holds my java (of any size) ever so delicately and easily within my reach even without looking for it.
Oh, did I mention she's a AWESOME cook, loves taking care of my kids, and we've been married nine years....

Give these a try...
cupholder auction
or
Auction #2
or
Auction #3
(will this fit in place of the fairly useless change/junk collector below the stereo?
No, they are not mine, nor am I affiliated with the auctions, I just found them.
