MB Versus Ferrari, VS BMW, Pics attached

So the wife says, "No way". Those bike racks are not going on her brand new Beautiful Beamer. So I thought, OK how about my little red sports car?? Nah! So I bite the bullet and put them on my daily driver. Now the wife says that my MB looks like *****. Like $****? Hmm. I quickly bark back, I just paid more for each of those carbon fiber bikes than the complete set of Brabus wheels! Oops. Now she wants to upgrade her car to a convertible M. It may not look so great, but I should have kept my mouth shut. "Yes Dear, um Yes Dear". Oh well I am out of here. The weather in Cali is in the mid 80's and I am heading to Solvang (East of Santa Barbara) for a big ride...Cheers!

Where are your Brabus centercaps !!! ? Look like fakes now..

Also- your wife probably would much rather have a 330 over an M. Unless she wants to drive stick or have a jerky SMG tranny. And a loss in low end torque. Have to rev the snot out of it to make power.

On my work bench. The "B" with the huge bold outline looked a little different. Then for the first week at least 5 people walked up to me and said
"B" I thought it was supposed to say MB . I laughed and then decided to take them off. Anyone want to buy them??

Agreed, she loves the body style (kit) but the 6 speed would be a pain the **** especially for her commute.

Hey, but then I could borrower it and rev the snot out of it!

Ah, there is always an angle!

Agreed E-Bay. Only one problem. I never sold anything on E-Bay but maybe for a lower $$ item having a rating may not be as much of an issue.

Just make sure you guys test drive thoroughly!! I just took a ride in a brand new cab yesterday, it was a sweet ride. And with the top down I actually fit. Miss the sound of that engine. But the tranny on the SMG, unless you have more appreciation for power/performance than comfort, she won't like it. I liked it personally. Auto mode has improved with software, but its still very tempermental and awkward. No one really uses it that I'm aware of except in heavy traffic. You can get an M package with 18" wheels on the 330 now. At a good discount I'm sure. My uncle has a new red on black 330 cab for sale, hes just bought and E55 (traded in his 645) and ordered an M3 Cab. Super low miles, flawless, 6 sp., sports package, 18" wheels, etc. let me know if you're interested. His price was very reasonable.

Funny (but true) story, so when I bought the car I was having it transported from another Dealer.

My wife told all of her friends that I was really excited about getting my Fiero.

I later told her, babe it is a Ferrari not a Fiero....LOL

Good advice! When we bought her Beamer she did drive an "01 M. She could drive it but it was not the most luxurious ride. Ah, how quickly we forget.

Ah nice! Another biker. It does look kinda cool with the bikes on top, right?

Those are actually two brand new Madones. I know Lance rides Trek blah blah blah. I bought them for the ride quality and handling.

Congrats on the Seven and Litespeed. That titanium is supposed to be pretty sweet!

And since you are a bike rider, some of your friends probably thought the "B" was a Bontrager logo, since the Brabus and Bontrager logos are almost the same!

So true! and with my wife's US Postie Team paint (hey she wanted it) it literally has Trek and Bontrager plastered ALL over it. You see it from every angle.

OK, gotta ask. How can you tell the real and fake ones by looking at them from the pix, cause I'm thinking of getting the fake ones myself from Tirerack, it's ASA brand. I know the real AMG ones are 2 piece, right? and those nuts are real.

OMG, just called TireRack and the ASA is lighter than AMG.
