E-320 Burst Into Flames!
Having said that, I am also NOT comfortable finding tonnes of that brake dust stuck in my car's air filters (both cabin and engine filters). More importantly the cabin filter (why do you think they say not to breath that dust when cleaning around the wheels?). I am concerned that some of those particles are making into my car cabin. Some brake pads manufacturers are using asbestos or something of that nature. One even calls itself Raybestos. So can you shed some technical light on this concern?
BTW: BudC tone down the way you write to people. Even though you are a Senior Member, you may be chartting with people who are a lot more senior than you in life.

BTW, I seriously doubt there are many here who are older than I am. I'm older than dirt

Again, nice maturity by both of you!!
same thing happened to Jeremy clarkson when he tested the CLS, brakes overheated...a couple days later I read on other forum about this SLK320 that showed the same symptoms...I think it's the pads and not the size of the disks...
