I know they go by price and not engine, but come on.

Wait a minute, they picked the 350 over the NEW A6 with the 4.2?

LOL!

wow, ahead of the bmw and audi! the top three in that test, the M45, RL, and GS430, are what the car magazines have been praising lately, so being slotted just below them is great...

I think they were more impressed than they dared to admit. Their main complaint seemed to be that the car was so stable. They almost admitted their conversion in the last line where they said it was a mature car for a mature owner.

the interior of the new GS is horrible. I think the new STS is nice, what didn't they like about it?

The top 3 names didn't exist 20 years ago...

amazing.

(Of course, Nissan, Toyota, and Honda did)

Amazing to look at what they were putting out 20 years ago....Datsun B210, Toyota Starlet, Honda Accords that rusted out in 3 years.

MB was putting out solid tanks 20 years ago that are still on the road.

I look at my electronic key, power tilt wheel, door that opens to reveal CD changer, I could go on....is this stuff going to last 20 years?

It better.
I know on my Lexus LS400 it lasted 11 years and still wanted to keep on going.

Tesla
My 95 C280 lasted 8 years and the cost of repairs reached 50% of blue book value of the car. So I had to give it up.

2004 E320 (W211) & 2005 G35 Coupe
For those fo you have seen the M45, this is no suprise. I'd trade in my E ANYDAY for that thing, it's absolutely sick in everyway, interior, exterior, and performance.

Well, they picked the Infiniti M45 instead of the M35 which would have been a totally different comparison. 4.5l vs 3.5l - The M35 certainly would not have been at the top of the performance and at the top of the fuel guzzlers which would have dropped it down a couple of notches but then these tests are very subjective so who knows how they would have voted.

The M35 still sports a 3.5 V6 with 280 hp to boot, so the result may have just been a tad different. Building both cars, you can get the same suspension setup, gadgets, etc. with the M35, just sans the V8.

Without the sport package the E350 doesn't stand a chance in this comparo.
