2004 due for service; free, right?

My FSS indicator tells me Im due for Service B. I have a 2004, so I have free maintenance and should not pay anything, right? Ive had the car for only 4 months and this is the first service visit. I just wanna be informed and prepared not to be taken by the dealer. TIA.

Yes, Free.

I just brought my 2004 in for a Service B (and the usual littany of warranty issues) and was not charged. This was part of the deal on 2004 cars. I've owned mine for 8 months.

I thought that if you had a 2004 MB or older that is still under free maintenance, tire rotation would be free since it is part of the service. However, if you want the rotation done more often than 12k mikes, then it is not free. I personally end up rotating the tires myself since I switch out the tires and wheels twice a year. When I remove the wheels, I wash them and label them so I know where to mount them the next season. It would be kind of stupid not to rotate them when I change the wheels out anyway.

When I get my next oil change "service C" I imagine I will specifically state that I don't want them to rotate the tires since I probably already did it again by that time.
