Xenon?
Externally Mono and Bi look the same, occupying the same lights housing (not in the other 2 as I had thought before I saw it). As far as I know they have a shutter on the beam to switch between low/high beam. To be honest Xenon high beam has a limited use, just like a Halogen high beam. You wouldn't switch it on in the city and you gotta be driving on an isolated road to be able to use high beam for prolonged periods of time.
I already get enough oncoming traffic lights flashes for using low beam Xenons because of their brightness!
That's how it is on the ML for 2002.
Could be wrong, though.
I bet "normal" - (e.g. previous century) lights are standard, at least on the 320 (in the U.S.). Maybe the 500 will have bi-xenons standard?
and btw, here in Canada, their sport package is the Advantgarde package!? WHAT THE F*CK?? NO AMG SKIRTS OR duAL EXhAUSTS..
so pissed..

As for the sport package, I have seen some marketing literature which shows the Sport Package with non AMG wheels. They actually show the MB Solid 5 Spoke Rim as being part of the Sport Package.

Yet, when you go to the Eclass build, under the Sport package it only sais "Avant Garde" package (no mention of AMG skirts, bumper, rear apron, or even wheels).
What is the Avant Garde Package? Just a bunch of body color parts?
If the Eclass does not get a real Sport package that is going to be "beyond" weak.
I'll bet this is the Sport package we are getting.
This is what I expect the Sport package to consist of.......
