Help me lease a E320 or E500

What seems to be the best deals out there, looking for a pretty loaded one.

I am located in Orange County, CA.

THanks

I think the best deals are still at Laguna Niguel where I got mine. They are willing to sit down and haggle with you as opposed to FJ which basically snobs you if you don't have cash. Don't get me wrong, I love FJ for service, I just can't afford them for purchase.

rules of thumb... best least term is 39mo.. go in there with the assumption that the residual will be about 50% negotiate a PRICE.. then work out lease payments.. get as high a residual as you can... I know the CDI, which is the highest (read best) of the W211's is about 58% at 39mo.. then take total cost X the part you are leasing (the remainder on top of the residual) and divide by 39 add sales tax and it should put you in the ball park.. but with 5K down (no need for any more than than) you should roll a nice (53K sticker E320) for about 650/mo and an E500 for about $750.. ball park..

good luck

I decided to just pay cash, and lease it from myself.. that's the best deal, if you can't take a deduction on the lease.

You may want to check with Caliber in Aneheim (off the 91 at Imperial hwy) or House of Imports in Buena Park. The staff at Caliber is friendly and professional without the arrogance compared to those ultra cheesy "show me the money" jerks at Fletcher Jones. I wouldn't buy/lease from FJ even if they had the best price.

SouthBay and visit other places

Seems like SouthBay Mercedes may have lots of inventory since they were advertising E350 (39 month) lease on there website for $399 a month plus taxes. Took this add to a local dealer and they said they can't match so I would try this out and then ask how much they are willing to negotiate.

I ended up finding a pre-certified E500 2005 (loaded) with less than 3K miles at about the same MSRP as a new E350. This was probably better than new since it has an extended warranty and 100% inspected.

Ended up purchasing since I was able to find a bank that offered a 7 year loan with a low interest rate. When the warranty expires in 2010 since its pre-certified - I will probably decide to purchase or sell.

Goodluck on finding a deal - should be easy since the luxury sedan market and dealers are loaded with inventory.

That lease probably requires $5000 or more down though.. which is steep on a lease.

I agree. large acquistion fees, large buyout amounts, you're probably better off purchasing the car. After 39 months or so of making 700+ car payments, add to that the 5000+ acquistion fee, tax and license and you're looking at well over 36000 bucks for a car that you have to turn in. not to mention you only get 10000 miles a year. with a luxury car like that the dealer will charge you upwards of 10cents+ a mile...

Yep, it's going to be all that as mentioned to go with the leasing option.

It's pretty expensive unless they take a chunk off the MSRP ...take a $54K+tax car and depreciate say 40% over 39 months (even at 0%) and you get a monthly about $600 per month.

SouthBay was advertising 4K out of pocket + taxes and $399 a month/39 months (10K miles a year) for an E350. Take the $4K out of pocket + say $4k in taxes and divide that by 39 months gives about $200 a month. So adding this to the $399 a month gets you at $600 per month. I don't think they are making anything from this if any.
