Some new info from a german site. I ran it thru the translator...

W211 info

According to this the AMG W211 will get the SL engine...

well, its official now. our next car will be the new e class wagon w/ 4matic and panoramic roof!!! it will replace our current bmw 325xi wagon (the lease timing works just right! whoo hoo!) this car looks sweet and the roof is the icing on the cake now i just gotta tell the wife!

Has the process of filling cavities with foam for soundproofing and rust prevention been used in other classes? I've been told some Japanese cars use the process.
