Everyone point and laugh at the new guy!
Hey all! I did a bit of searching and I believe this is the best MB forum out there so I decided to stop in and say HI!
Me: Im Evan, 28 and just separated from the Navy after 10 years of service. I now work as a contractor for the Gov in the DC area. I just got a nice raise so I decided to treat myself to a new car. I was tossing up the idea of a SRT-8 300C or the Benzo, but since I will be driving 100miles round trip a day for work, I decided to go with the CDI.
The new car: Got a Red 2006 CDI with the E350 wheels, swapped out at the dealer & the premium package. The only options I wanted that I didnt get was the HID's and the keyless start. (Yea, I am thinking about upgrading the headlights)

I was tossing up the idea of a SRT-8 300C or the Benzo, but since I will be driving 100miles round trip a day for work, I decided to go with the CDI.

And as you can tell from my other cars I have a thing for red cars. (Yea, I actually thought about repainting my bike :p
I took a couple of pics at the dealer when I picked it up, It was kinda dark so I dont know how well they come out. But fear not, I will be taking some more pics soon!

Point and laugh at the new guy? Naw, I would never do that. That would be impolite. I would wait till you're out of earshot, and then ridicule you.
But serially. This isn't one of those forums where you feel like you're somehow intruding on a private party if you post anything. We're not clannish like that, or even jealous. Well, maybe a little jealous. OK, maybe a lot jealous - of your red CDI, of course. There's a lot of CDI envy in California; legal "used" CDIs are still rare here.
