Platinum Blue with Charcoal
In searching for a E350 4-matic with premium and lighting packages, a dealer has located one in platinum blue with charcoal (also with split folding seats). I have not seen very many of this color on the road or up close and none with the charcoal interior. Does anyone have one? Pictures anyone?

There's an E320 wagon in my neighborhood that's platinum blue. I really like it. Not sure of the interior color. Of course I'm partial to the blues. I bet platinum blue looks clean longer than black opal.

My 2005 E500 is platinum with ash. I love the platinum, but the ash is a bit hard to keep clean. I gets lots of compliments on the color.

Here are some of mine with the LED lights found on the lighting package. The Platinum blue is my favorite as it changes color with the hight of the sun.. darker in the morning and evening and lighter in the mid day hours..
There are more pics on my website if you click on my car's name in my signature block.

If I had to do it again, I would have gotten Platinum Blue with the Pacific Blue interior. I saw another car like that with the Appearance package and it looked real nice. The Ash is nice looking, but very hard to keep clean. Especially around those stupid door sills, and on the dead pedal.
Platinum Blue used to be very rare, but I've now seen lots more of them on the road.

btw... what's the latest word on the CDI? Totaled? I think if you insist on 100% OEM / MB parts and replace anything that even looks like it may have gotten dirty.. you'll easily be totaled. IT may be worth hiring a Lawyer to wrtie a letter to the insurance company ($500 or so out of your pocket) stating that you expect the car to be 100% original condition, as it's such a new car.

What I really like about Plat blue... for some reason, it really sets off the chrome accents.. which is why I added the chrome door handle protectors (I normally hate bling bling).
