Recent posts on the topic have recommended searching EBay under "W211" and "exhaust tips". I haven't tried that search myself because I don't think my car needs any exxtra 1nches in the exhaust department. I don't know how EBay works on international sales, but there is an "ebay.ie", and I assume that they've got it all figured out.

that looks sweet!

is it true that it is a straight install or do we need to cut the original pipe by an inch.

tips look like crap from teh sides. if you want the proper look, youll need to get a new exhaust and mod the bumper

2010 RRS ; BMW K1200R; 14 E350 ; 14 RRS on order
I've had them for two years
Installed them Once, they look great to me unless you get on your knees and look under the car but from side they're fine
They fit exactly right, no mods necessary and Zero Rattle if you install them nice and tight. It takes a while to install correctly and you kinda need someone to stand back and tell you when they're on streight, prefrebly a car person that knows what looks right not your wife or girlfriend.

I saw some bolt-on tips that looked similar to what you find on ebay and they looked horrible from the side.

Come to think of it without the bumper cutouts they didn't look all that great from the back either.

tips...

I purchased the ones from carpartsdiscount.com and they didn't fit nor did they not look to good from side. The only ones that i think look somewhat decent are the ones from formymercedes which are made by schaetz. The website is very good in that they show you the tips from a lot of differnt angles. I ended up not getting them as 250 for me was not something i could see spending $$$ on.

I'm really interested in seeing what the new 2006 sport exhaust will cost along with cutting the bumper to get the tips visible - that's what i think i'm going to end up doing.
