Dean lowered my car via DAS with an approximate 1.25" - 1.5" drop.

It was highly recommended that I get it aligned right after I had it lowered, but I've been putting it off. I just drove my car over the weekend and noticed how much my car drifts when I'm on a leveled surface. Can anyone recommend an alignment shop in San Diego?

Pressing the button does raise the car up enough to clear steep driveways and whatnot, but it will be around an inch lower than stock height.

wow! didnt realize you can drop it that low.

Kenny, if you have airmatic suspension on your e-class. it can be lowered by software (dealer plugs their system to the car and can adjust the ride height )

the hard part is finding a dealer that will actually do it for you.

I usually drive in Sport II mode, so it's a little stiff on rough roads, but the ride is very comfortable overall!! All my passengers compliment the car for the smooth ride.

Who is Dean, and is he in the San Diego area? Not sure of the best alignment shop in town, but make sure you get one that does NOT use laser. From what the E55 guys are saying, the car is too low to let the laser beam get accross and that is why the dealer can not do it. Well, that and they don't want to. You may want to check out a nice speed shop or body shop??

Dean aka Scorchie on here works for MBenzNL. He did my lowering and Euro Comand in 45 mins. Very cool guy, but he's been MIA on here for quite awhile. Thanks for the alignment advice.
