Need to lower the W211 E320...help
What would you guys suggest? HR springs and Bilstein sport shocks?
Trying to keep it cheap like 600-800 bucks.

All depends if your dad has springs (lower models) or the airmatic suspension (found on sports/appearance package). Someone on here had HR springs and it gave the car a nice drop. Last I heard, he was parting out his car in this thread.

If your dad's car has the airmatic suspension, probably the best and easiest way of lowering it would be using the DAS. Contact www.mbenznl.com for this.

Prior to the 2007 model, Airmatic was available on the E350. I drove a 2006 E350 that had the Sport Package with Airmatic.

Review on 2007 models

Mercedes rules out offering Airmatic as an option on the E350 because of pricing pressures.
“(The E350) customers aren’t just going to add Airmatic,” Herring says. “They’re going to add Airmatic, ventilated seats…all this stuff, and then they’re shaking hands with the 550. So at that point, that’s where that customer goes. And from a manufacturing standpoint, you can’t build every car for every person.”

Model Lineup
The E-Class lineup can seem daunting and complex and the 2006 model year includes a new engine and a new model. It really isn't that difficult, however, because there is only one primary choice: four-door sedan or wagon. From there, it's a matter of choosing the engine and whether you want all-wheel-drive.
The E350 sedan ($50,050) is the standard model. The name change reflects its new 3.5-liter V6 engine. It comes standard with the new seven-speed automatic transmission. Standard features include fully automatic dual-zone climate control, 10-way power front seats with leather seating surfaces and position memory, real burl walnut trim, a power tilt and telescoping steering wheel, a nine-speaker stereo, power windows with one-touch express operation both up and down, auto-dimming mirrors and rain-sensing windshield wipers. 4Matic full-time variable all-wheel drive ($2,500) is available. Also available is an Appearance Package ($3,960) that adds sporty lower body cladding and Mercedes' Airmatic computer-controlled air suspension.

ok so Eibach? Any good?
The older days there was this crapy lowering springs by Suspention Technique..when the car lowered and it was still smooth....then at a higher speed ,at a sharper turn, the tires just rubbed into the fender...
What I did was cut the spring slowly, about 1/8 coil at a time until I got the drop I was looking for. Remember it takes a few days for the suspension to settle..
