Desert Silver or Pewter
Thoughts? Does anyone have pictures of each color? I like both colors just not 100% positive I made the right choice
here is one of the pic that I took from another thread

Here's my reasoning.
I loved a color called Smoke Silver but they discontinued it and replaced it with Desert Silver. The problem is I find Desert a little too goldern/pinkish beige in some light especially with the Java interior, but as there was no other alternative ( I didn't want Brilliant Silver) I thought I would just accept it.
Then when I ordered my car I was told of a new color being released called Pewter.I saw a swatch and it was very similiar to the old Smoke (not so goldern, more grey with a little brownish tone) and loved it.
Because I am getting the Elegance with the Burr Walnut trim I am chosing the new Pebble Beige interior which will contast the wood and the Pewter. I am not a great fan of grey leather interiors, they look a little cheap to me as the grey leather reminds me of cheap vinyl shoes.
As yet I have only seen the color on the photos on the forum but I am sure I have made the right choice.
The clincher for me was an article in CAR Magazine UK which says the E Class is a very color dependant car,the only color to avoid is the "grandfather beige" as it makes the car look like a Hyundai Sonata.
NO THANKS!!!

i ordered the sport before i knew it came with the black wood so i'm actually a bit apprehensive how that will turn out.
The lighter interior appears to brings out the wood better vs. having a charcoal interior (which would make sense).
I seriously wouldn't worry about it, a Pewter Sport with a Stone interior and Black Bird's Eye trim sounds like a winner.
