The 7 series needs 20" rims as standard. Go with the 7.

The E looks best with 19".

Hard to find a car that loses more value more quickly than a 7-series.

I think 20" wheels would look tacky and disproportionate on an E-Class. I love the 5-spoke AMG 18s on my car, and wouldn't go beyond 19" on a W211 E-Class. There's a new BMW wheel that looks incredible on the 7-Series, albeit huge, and I think it's 21". Yet the 7 is massive with big slab sides, so visually the larger wheels look ok. The ones I mentioned look like the 5-spoke X5 4.6is 20s that I put on my X5 but they're made to fit the 2002+ 7-Series.

Here's a link to some replicas of the wheels I mentioned above. They look great on that 6-Series...if only it didn't have that awful trunk that I'll never get used to.

I have the BMW 21" rims on my 7 and they are monstrous. They came with the car and IMO look fantastic.

It's the first time I've seen someone pick the wheels first, then choose a car to suit.

was '03 E320 - now - '04 S4
For dubs? Get a freakin' 300C - airbags and a "Bentley" style grille.

Game Over if you want that bling-bling street ghetto fab kind of look.
