Radio No Worky ????
As I Got Into My Car This Morning I Notice That The Radio Aint Working, Everytime I Push The On Botton It Will Say " The Mercedes Benz Word And Logo And It Will Stay For About 5 Second Then It Will Turn Off . Anybody Ran Into This Problem??? Need Input Thanks Ahead.

Had this happen a couple of times.. long ago... hasn't happened in recent memory..
Turn off the ignition, lock your car, and go grab a brewski.. by the time you come back, it'll probably work as intended; if not, pull the fuse.. that should do it.
During your next dealer visit, mention it. (I recall something about an AGW reflash...)

What you're describing is a very common problem with '03 audio systems - including the one on our car. There is a service bulletin(s) on the problem and it's fixed by the dealer updating the audio firmware and/or replacing the audio gateway hardware. The only surprising thing is that it's taken this long for the problem to show up on your '03.

It just happened to me again - yesterday. Pull the #6 fuse in the trunk fuse box and reseat it. That will restart the audio gateway. That solution fixed mine last year and again yesterday. Now, I am going to complain the next time I take it in for service but it was a quick fix.

It was a Star Bulletin, not a recall. I'm sure Konigstiger has the actual bulletin, but it is the audio gateway fix. Common in the 03's but has happened several times in my 04. Pulling fuse 6 has worked every time. I had the audio gateway fix applied a long time ago, but the problem has persisted. At least I haven't had the static/very loud/can't turn the damn thing off problem in almost two years.
