Original MB part prices

Does anyone know of a good place/dealer to get original MB parts/electronics? I just talked to my local dealer and they quoted me $2225 for VC and phone components. Doing due diligence I need to see if there are better prices around..

You might try this to get wholesale pricing on parts and accessories....Park Place Motorcars in Dallas gives wholesale pricing the first 10 days of each month to members of the North Texas MB car club, it's only $40 a year to join the car club. Call Park Place, tell them you are a member and see what the pricing is on your parts and accessories, I believe they will ship as well. Then join the car club and you are all set, wholesale pricing....

Thanks for the tip. It turnes out that the local dealer in Charlotte also does wholesale of parts. That should save some $$.

I don't know exact percentages, but when I bought a fuel filter and claw wrench, my dealer wanted almost $200 for each of these (retail), and Westchester sold me the filter for $96 and the wrench for $89. For me to buy wholesale, I would need a business Fed Tax/State Tax ID in my state and I have neither.

Paul...

I don't know if the program (posted earlier in the thread) at Park Place Mercedes in Dallas is actually "wholesale", I have also referred the pricing referred to as "employee pricing" and "cost + 10%". The savings is not an exact percentage across the board. I paid about $110 each for the front euro impact strips, not sure what retail was, I don't ask. If memory serves correct, I did get a quote on the parts only to convert to AMG brakes and it was about $4200 retail, $2800 my price with the club membership. Birds eye instrument cluster trim is listed at $311 on their accessory site and I think my quote was for $175 or $199. Whenever I am buying something small, I just say I'm a club member and don't ask about retail. The savings is better than 20%...get a quote from your dealer on something you need retail, then call Park Place Mercedes and tell them you are a North Texas Mercedes car club member and you need a quote on that part...
