If you use a tiny flat head screwdriver, it can be done with just one

If it's small enough, you can slip it in behind the light and push that little clip. I didn't use any protection for my paint and had no problems. But I'm a superstar, so.....

Thanks for the info. I would only trust the superstars of this forum for help regarding my new E350. Only had it for a few weeks and already want to mod it. Any problems with water getting inside because I read that someone did?

it should fit the 07 Es. Then change your W5W bulbs to silver bulbs so when you turn them on you will have the yellow lights. i bought my 194 silver bulbs from xenonmods.com for $12.00 shipped. the 194s are equal to the W5Ws

Or, keep your stock clear bulbs like I did. That way, no amber all clear.

Hey guys,
I purchased these clear corners from the same ebay seller as the link above. Just wondering how long it took for the item to come in. The seller is a not from the USA according to his/her paypal account so I'm just curious on where it is exactly coming from. Mine was ordered on Sept. 1 and still has not come in. Kind of worried now and no contact from the seller after I emailed. I'm sure it's on its way since the seller has great feedback but I'm just hating my orange corner lights.

I would also like to mention that the corners are not OEM quality, It has a different reflector then OEM and is not as bright. I was washing my car and water tested the corners with water: Clears are forging up. These (that quality) parts are deffently overpriced.

This is interesting.

Firstly, yes the seller is from California and I got mine in Maryland in 4 or 5 days.

Secondly, my car is washed minimun of once a week, sometimes twice a week and I've never had any fogging whatsoever. Hmmmmmm, two different types maybe? I don't know. But the ones I got were equal quality to the OEMs I took out.

Sorry to hear you're having problems.

And to barrafp,

As noted above, it was 4 or 5 days from the day I purchased it all the way in Maryland. I know of a couple others in this thread who purchased from the same seller and I believe they all had a similar experience.

Hope it shows up soon.

I concur with Benz-O-Rama. The seller is from CA. I ordered from the same Ebay seller and I also received mine about 4-5 days. My clears look exactly like Benz-O-Rama's and I am loving it.

That's all very reassuring but I live in CA and should only take 2 days at the most. I'll keep waiting. This mod bug sure makes you impatient.

BENZ O RAMA,

Did you have the same reflector on your clears as on stock ones. Very bright?

Thanks.

I don't know if they're the exact same reflectors or not but I remember when I popped the OEM out and I had them side by side, they appeared to be pretty much the same other then the clear lens. And when my lights are on, yes I would say it's the same brightness. Although, I used by OEM clear bulbs, not the amber ones that came with the lenses. Are you using the amber bulbs or the clear OEM ones? That may be the difference.

I am using my stock clear bulbs. When you have OEM and Clears side by side.
OEM appear to have more dots in them and better reflection and on clears it apperas to have dot texture on the sided and clear sqear in the middel.
Do yours say made in taiwan on the lens as well?
Look at the picture and you will see square clear box in the middle.

Alright, now you've made me second guess myself. I had to go pull out my OEMs and place them side by side with the clears. I did not pop the clears back out though. What I've found is that yes, there are less "dots" as you put it on the clears. But the overall build quality is no different than the OEMs. Also, mine does not say made in Taiwan, although they probably are made in Taiwan. Mine say ESDEPO and then some number.

You said the yours fogged up. Have you checked them for cracks? Because, on mine, the only ingress into the light cavity is the hole that the bulb housing locks into. My bulb housing has a rubber gasket, does yours? Could it have possibly stuck to the old yellow one? I don't know...I'm reaching here. Maybe you can email the seller and get replacements or return them, perhaps. So far, I think you're the only one that's disappointed with these.

See my previous post..

Mine are the same as Benz-O-Rama's (Thanks to his lead) and living in New Hampshire, I got mine in < 5days. No water to speak of and we've gotten plenty of it with the rain the past few weeks.

I too wash the car weekly and have noticed no leakage to speak of. I also use the clear stock bulbs. Sounds like there are two types flowing around out there, all said I am happy with the cheap mod and am waiting on Benz-O-Rama to find me something else . Now if my damn burlwood steering wheel would come that I ordered two weeks ago I would be even happier.

I pulled mine out again and you are right the only place for water is with the rubber around it.
I think it is my paranoya talking.
