Yes Barry your correct the doors do unlock when i pull on the door handle from inside, and i do have the little black box on the outside handle but i still cant make use of it? what are the functions of the keyless go option? does the remote look different? i thought keyless go had the button on top of the shifter, which i dont have.

The remotes look identical. Keyless go does have the button on top of the shifter. Keyless entry is a feature all 211's have and is the remote door unlocking, not just opening the handle.. Keyless go is an option and is required for the procedure discussed here.
