(Mines back in the shop again yesterday for a power steering groan every day when the car is cold, 'till it is all warmed up.)

It's really too bad... very attractive car and seemed like I was doing good for the money spent at the time of purchase but the last 19 months and 27,000 miles have not been too much fun. Of course, going through multiple service advisors to find one that doesn't have a bad attitude doesn't help anything. I got my revenge on the J.D. Power and other evaulation forms.
I hoping once I get through these issues I may get a few months of enjoyable driving.... in our family there is a '04 Corvette, '01 Jeep Grand Cherokee, '05 Nissan Altima & an '04 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder and this car by far has had more problems than all the others.... though not as bad as the '01 Lincoln LS it replaced (transmission had been rebuilt twice by 22k... but at least the service facility and advisors in Naples tried their best without an atitude).

Yes, $100. Used it to pay part on my last service bill for $1000.
I have to drive over 100 miles just to get to a dealer not to mention the time I had to wait for the recall to be completed. Could have got a loaner but decided not to needed to get back home. Nice service from MB on this one. Exceeded my expectations. Jim

I received a $50 card a few weeks ago. As soon as I saw it, I thought about running into Sears hardware and putting it towards some tool(s). After getting over my temporary insanity, I gave the card to my wife who put it toward a new handbag. I made the right decision.
