FS: Bi-xenon headlights for W211...
I got a pair I was gonna put on the W211 but I decided to allocate money elsewhere...so I'm selling a very slightly used pair of W211 Bix headlights. Only problem is one headlight has a very small scratch on the outer lense, nothing bad really, and one (or maybe it's the same I forgot I gotta go look), has a broken tab. Nothing bad and nothing that can't be fixed. Comes complete with attached ballasts, bixenon shields, and HID bulbs, as it would from the factory. Works 100%. no refunds however.
I'll take pics of it all tomorrow. We all know how much these things are, but I'm gonna let you guys make me an offer...

Its big and Grey!
2-3 hour install in your driveway. then take it to the dealer for coding. that will run about $100. Less if you are in good with the dealer.

Tab is partially broken. Doesnt matter, the screw will still go through and stay secure. I'm sure you guys know how to jerry rig it if necessary.

The Driver side IS NOT DULL, it's the sun from outside that was messing with the pic. BOTH lenses are clear as day.

You can take the guts of the lights and move them over to the houseing you have on your car now if the broken tab is a problem. I got a set where one of the tabs broke during shipping dur to poor packageing and I deceided to move the guts of the Xenon light over to the houseing I had in the car.
You will have to take the glass off and cut 3 new holes in the halogen houseing. There are outlines in the halogen houseing where to cut so it is very easy. There are also mounting points for the ballast and igniter.
The only thing to keep in mind is that when you ajust the aim you move both the high and low beam and due to the construction of the light you will have to disassemble the ajustment. The way I worked around it was that after takeing of the glass and the lens I ajusted the light to one of the extreme positions either high or low and marked where the ajustment skew was so I could line it up once I put to together in the new house.
I took me about 45 minutes to move the light and wires over and ajust it again. The glass is sealed with something called 'strip caulk' from 3M. I got some at a NAPA autostore. It's about $13. The whole operation, remove bumper, remove lights, move the bix guts, align and reassemble took about 3 hours.
