Blue Headlight Lens Film

I found this in Car and Driver and checked out their site:
http://lamin-x.com/showcase_blue.php

Seems like a cool idea to give off a little flare. Not looking for it to change my bi-xenon light color during driving, but a little color during the day.

What do y'all think?

Don't do it man. Get some Hoen bulbs and call it a day. People WILL point and laugh if you get them. Again this IMHO. Take it, ot leave it... its just my opinion.

This maybe good for civics. Or even the old E, but we have a lot of chrome in their. And oh is it beautiful.

I did get the yellow aka Ion halogen bulbs, but they weren't yellow enough for me so I upgraded to HID fogs. Besides, I like the look of the yellow film on the foggies since it gives a little contrast up front. Maybe give my car the JDM look

correct me if I am wrong, but dosen't JDM stand for "japanese domestic market" ? If so, why make our German cars look Asian?

Just wondering?

Actually...I've seen yellow fogs on some DTM, JDM, and rally cars and I just like the look of it, but that doesn't necessarily mean I'll be doing it. It was just a consideration. Sometimes I'm just weird like that want to do something different or not mainstream. How about rims with a silver face and black lip....sounds different, but looks nice IMO. Or how about Japanese rims on a German car? Gold rims on white? That's just my cup of tea.

Ok, I think I decided not to. Having had the car only a couple of months, and coming from 2 Fords, I have to ask these types of questions to validate my understandings. Thanks for putting me in my place.

hi all,
been a while..diggin my a8..
re the lamin-x, i used them on my old w210 to whiten up city lights.
got minimal improvement and it did look a bit purple-y.
i also tried the yellows. not much of a change from stock.
on my w211 i put hoens into fogs and i think piaas in city lights.
along with little blue h6w lamps in my markers.
i would recommend this combo on w211. will try to fetch a pic now..

ok they're in this album link..
