I think your technique is wrong. This is what I do. First I press the brake lightly. I then press on the gas with increasing pressure. If the car starts to move forward increase the pressure on the brakes just a bit. Once the car is stabalized, keep on increasing the gas. It should break loose by then.
so it rained today and I used this technique a little... worked like a charm, car barely moved, Ill try it some more when its dry out...

On a side note, the look on people's faces when you pull in to a mall parking lot, turn the ESP off and start doing donuts and figure 8s... PRICELESS

If you want your wheels to spin, go buy the worst tires possible.

If you want tire spin go by an AMG. ON second thought go buy an AMG that doesn't have the ECU reflash!

Don't drop from high revs in neutral down into drive----ever!!!! I tried this last year in my heavy *** Tahoe. Results were not cool. Ended up blowing the pin out the rear diff creating a hole the size of a golf ball, also blew out 1st and 2nd gears in tranny. Tried to limp back home 1 1/2 miles, and the right rear came out with axle still attached, then grinded on the frame to a stop. Please learn from my mistake!!!

Glad it worked!! Haha on the last comment, I also started doing donuts in the parking lot while there were some learners trying to park.
