I have decided to order the e500 sport, but have not had the opportunity to see the different interior color options with the "black" birdseye maple. The exterior will definately be black or obs. black. Comments / Suggestions are appreciated.

I think with the black exterior charcoal, ash, or stone would all work. I think the MB brochure shows black/stone in one of the pics.

I've ordered black with charcoal interior. The stone looks nice with the standared wood but I felt that keeping it clean and looking that way would be a major hassle.

I'm going to go with charcoal interior as well, though I am still hoping that they will bring back the old saddle or tan interior of yore...
I don't know about the black birdseye, though. I'm a traditional Benz burlwood girl, so I am a bit torn.
The colors on the brochure (and on the website) are hard to distinguish, imo...
I have obsidian/java now, and the light interior is a big hassle to keep clean. It is a losing battle...

How about the ash interior? How easy would it be to keep it clean? I sat in one last month and I don't remember how light it was.
Thanks for the help. With the stone being so light, I am worried about trying to keep it clean. I would get the charcoal for sure based on looks, but living in "Hot'lanta I am concerned about the interior heat. Does anyone have experience with dark interiors and the difference in the temp vs. a lighter color?
