You gotta love the performance of this car. I like the color too!
Some tinted windows would really set it off.

Congratulations!

Sweet ride, but are those 6.3L AMG Badges on the side fenders?

Thanks for the compliment.

I am amazed at the amount of work people like you put into their cars. It has already given me the modification bug. I have already started shopping for a Quaife LSD and a Kleeman supercharger, ECU, and headers.

Personally I'd be proud of the engine and car you've got and rid those badges. What they do is make people think "Ohh is that an AMG", then realize it's not, and discredit the car and see it as something that's fronting, i.e giving it a cheap aura. Instead of walking by and going "oh is that just a regular ole' E350", then seeing the 550 badge in the back and thinking "Oh wow! It's a 5.5L 400HP version!" and seeing it as an even more prestigious version of an already prestigious car.

+1...The 550 is already amazing, leave it to the '03 E320 to do that!

You can do so much with that engine, if only we had them here at an affordable price haha

Affordable is a relative term. It seems every mod for this car is about two to three time more expensive to accomplish than just about any other car. So what does a fully loaded E550 go for in Australia?

Well we don't have the E550 but I'm sure if we did and it was fully loaded, it would be a joke compared to the US prices.

Currently we have the 500 and that costs about AUS$140K, which is roughly US$115-120K.

You don't want to know how much a CL/SL/S 65 AMG costs here in US$

This is what happens when you don't have a capitalist govt., they raise taxes on purchasing luxury goods, raise import taxes for luxury goods, making us buy Australian and generally just tax you for wanting to have nice things because you are a "fat cat".

That is why when I see a 2003 E55 going in SoCal for 25K I just want to buy a discount plane ticket and move the hell over to the US and grab it hahah.

We can import the cars from the US, but then its left hand drive in a right hand drive world, plus our govt taxes it again. It used to be alright in the 90s but today they have caught up with people doing it and it costs just as much now.

Man, what a bummer. I will never complain about US car prices again!!!!

And to not even to be able to get some models just adds salt to the wound.

It is the same for most countries in the South Pacific.

Additionally, I think in Singapore, you cannot own a car older than 10 years old. So if you buy a $200K car, as soon as it hits its 10th birthday it is destroyed and is worthless. THAT is lame.

I guess that pretty much kills the idea of owning a classic car. I tend to keep my cars for much longer.

Nice looking wagon. I don't think we got this model here in the states. I like the lower stance.

I knew that was true in some countries but I always wondered if they had an American E500 equivelant? In the states, the E500 is the older model with 300HP. The newer E550 is 382HP.

Seeing cars from around the world really provides an interesting twist on things.

LOVE that wagon (except those stickers, it's not an STI! LOL) Are those 19s or 20s? How is it lowered? That is the new style rear bumper with the older sport front?

Here's a few of mine updated:

I like the lowered look of yours, as well. And those wheels look like a later model AMG wheel package. Very clean and I am partial to that color too!!! Is it a daily driver?

yea those are like the AMGs that come on the 09 e550 but bigger (they came on CLSs and CLs and S65s too in 19s and sometimes 20s i think)

yes the silver is the best color yes daily driver. I'm going to do the 07 conversion (sport package) soon so it's really gonna look bad ***!
