Hi RRT,
I note you have a UK number plate on the front of your Mercedes but you appear to live in Florida, did you use COMAND and get lost going through the Eurotunnel?

found e500 AMG for sale looks great, 370 horsepower
Hey guys i was looking on the internet and i found this really nice e500 amg i am thinking about buying, Has 370 plus horsepower and hits 60 in 4.9 which is impressive for a e500, so what do you guys think about this one. Also its a amg kit but enhanced engine.

It's a nice E500 with a few AMG badges stuck on to inpress. The engine might be a flying machine but the bottom line is it is an AMG wannabee. Different folks have different boats, if you like it then go for it, but if I were looking for an AMG, that particular example would not be on my list.
Good luck with your decision

i agree.. its definently not an amg, and it was sold at auction twice. when a car goes to auction that means the seller has trouble selling it privatley.... and since its a e500 with no documented or visible engine mods. it doesnt have 370 hp. it has 305, total bs on the 0-60 too. especialy since the car doesnt belong to the person that selling it. if you look on the carfax its been sold at aution on 1-4-08, i dont trust what this person writes about this car because he or she didnt eaven own it for more than 2-3 weeks.
I talked to the seller and he sent me gt2 reading of the car, and i also went to the dealership to inspect it and it really did live up to the description of 370+ HP and 0-60 in 4.9. fastest e500 i have ever driven, also 99% of dealers don't check the HP of the cars, and even if they do they cant tell what was put in it unless it visible ( in my experience) Also i know a couple dealers, used to work at one, and my father was strictly a wholesale dealer, which means all he does is sell cars in the auctions. also that carfax report of being sold in the auction is when the dealer that is selling it now on ebay bought the car, i saw the paperwork on the car also and it was a trade in to another dealership which decided to of course sell it in the auction, which is what all dealers do when they get a trade-in. ( sorry if i am being rude, but i dont like when peopel bash on my maybe soon to be car.)
any take on this guys?
Thanks!
