2004 Mercedes E500
They are the MKS 550 Matte Gunmetal. Actually got a really good deal on them by going directly to the company. Here is the car before I put the rims and a few other things on it. I have lowered it, put xenon headlights, led running lights, rims/tires, removed Mercedes emblem from hood, new headlights, grill, new fog lights, new DVD navigation CD, repainted front and rear bumper, filled in license plate holes in front, custom license plate that matches car(in AZ they offer several different license plates). It had 84K miles on it when I picked it up as well.
Next is to replace the stereo with an aftermarket one from Japan that is updated. Not much else after this. I bought this to cart the kids around in. I have a 65 Mustang that is my toy as well. My plan is to sell the 65 Mustang and buy something in the 30's era to play with.

I agree it's all up to personal opinion, but I do have to admit I agree with 09W211 those star grilles don't work with the W211. But hey if you like it it's all that matters!

I like it cause because it reminds me of the old gullwing Mercedes. I also like that fact that its black which matches my car and the chrome pieces align well with the chrome strips on the bumper and the other chrome trim pieces on the rest of the car. I added a picture with the old grill on it. It totally sticks out in the picture. I also guess some people would say they don't like AMG stuff on non AMG cars.

Yeah but Mercedes traditionally puts the star in the grille on the sport-oriented models of their cars (SLK, SL, SLS, 300SL) etc but the W211 is really more of a classy luxury body style. Personally I think it looks terrible when they star is in the grille on any W211, but I don't mean that as disrespect towards you, I think you should have your car setup however you want it to be setup. I didn't pay for it and I don't give you the money for the mods.
The HIDs look clean and the drop on it in the last picture looks great, did you use lowering links?

Welcome to the forums. Is it silver or gray? Can't quite tell from the photo but good looking car! Put some new wheels on it and it will really set it off! Do you have a garage queen or track toy?
