Just picked up a 2008 with 73K miles from the proverbial little old lady. new michelins, and not one crack in the wood.. she never drove in inclement weather so underside is super clean. was kept indoors so overall decent condition... totally stock for now except for a Bluetooth connection. so far I like a lot!

Just picked a 2008 E350 with 61K miles! I got a set of 19x9.5 +35 laying around. Would this set up work with either 265/35 or 275/35? I’m not lowered yet, but planning to swap to coils in the future.
If I recall, someone ran CLS rears 18x9.5 +28 all around with 275/35/18?

Normally yes, but the price was right. The tires are nearly new and even when I wear them out I can probably resell the wheels for a profit. Also the negative rear camber was eating away the inside edge of the old 16" tires to the point where they were dangerous after just 15k miles. Alignment is within spec. My next project is adjustable rear camber kit to dial out the negative camber.
I got a new-to-me 2009 E550 Sport about 4 months ago and after shelling out around $3,000 to take care of deferred maintenance, repairs, and vehicular atrocities committed by the previous owner; my car is now looking (pretty) good and running excellent... and god DAMN this thing is absurdly fast!! Next on the list will be lowering links and muffler delete

It should not be floaty/boaty. My car is as tight as the C-Class for sure.

I have new Continentals on it. Maybe it is struts.

All w211s feel like a boat compared to the w203. There's no hiding the weight.
