Questions about the car after 1st day.

The cars been great! i drove it to school, and everywhere i got LOTS of looks..made me feel uncomfortable. the ride is very quiet, power is everywhere in this car and sunshades give the car an exclusive look.

but questions:
How to program the steering wheel so that it will go "up" when you exit or enter the car?

how to program the mirror on the right hand side to go down when you park?

How do you work those darn Air conditioning controls? the things you twist..those circle thingy's...don't get them?!

Why did the car "Hiss" and drop the ride height when i first opened the door?

please help. THnkas in advance

I'd start reading my manual, cause you are one of the first ones with that car, I know the right rear view mirror needs to be selected on your "mirror selection" so that it goes down for parking.

As for the A/C, just set your temperature and press the AUTO button and you're done. Don't bother turning the air distuibution knobs for now and let the car figure out what is best.

and about the hiss thing...i was walking one day by a s500...the guy got out, locked with remote, and same thing, it sounded like air comeing out of a small hole...i asked accord, i dont know if he remembers, but he said he didnt know....maybe you were drving in comfort, and pressed the button twice, and got out really quickly..so when you came back after whatever long, it went from comfort to sport, i am not sure though

The Airmatic system lets the air out of the shocks (thats the hiss sound), the car then lowers itself.....usually when you stop the car, turn it off, open the door. Sometimes it won't do it at all until you open the door to get in.

You never noticed it on the S500?

hmm....okay..i guess i can leave the AC at auto...its too complicated..

The hiss was when i actually opened the door to get into the car. i left the shocks settings at 1 bar. the middle one, not the comfort and not the sport setting.

Both my mom and dad's rides have the Air suspensions...but i've never noticed it on their cars...wierd...?

as for teh steering wheel, i still haven't consulted the manual yet. and again, the manual rivals the thickness of my finite book, so i'm not too thrilled into looking it up in the glassary or index or however you use it...

Personally I like looking at the manual of my new cars. It is really the only way to get the full use out of the car. And no, I don't wear plastic pocket inserts!
