Wow....looks very clean. What wax did you use?
Are you gonna send it back to Jakarta to have it facelift??
Hope everything will turn out to be the way you want..

WOW that looks terrific MotorWerkz! Theres just one thing I think you should do - debadge the car. Get rid of the E280 badge. It looks cleaner just having the MB badge in the middle. We did that to our black '04 E240 and we'll do it to our black '07 E280. Also, with those chrome pipes - some might think your cruising around in an E500!

I hope the technician can come to my hometown since sending the car via sea-freight would be too troublesome. I haven't got a reply from them, hopefully they are able to come.

Nobody knows what E500 has in my hometown, they will only say "oh that guy must be driving E200 kompressor since he debadged his car"
E280 is new, and I believe no one drive E280 in my hometown yet, I've seen a few E200, E240 and E260, but not E280, E350 and even E500.
Most of them don't even understand the numbering and the class (C, E, CLK, CLS, etc)

I got mine from Derry Motor at BloK M, and ADS is doing all of my services as well, I paid the warranty for 35 million rupiah.
Authorized MB dealers won't give warranty because it's a CBU car. They only give warranty to indonesian-assembled MB cars. Maybe I haven't ask enough question
Considering what I paid for, I think you have a better deal than I what got. I didn't do enough survey before buying the car and I still wish that I have the 2007 instead, but like I said, I didn't regret purchasing this.![drive](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)

Authorized dealers won't give warranty to grey market units, but if you buy any mercedes-benz (whether it is CBU or indonesian assembled units) from the authorized dealer, they will give you a 3 years warranty including oil change and services.
Because I know that the authorized dealers are also selling CBU cars, such as The mercedes-benz A-class, B Class, GL450, ML350, R Class, SL500, SLK350. They are all CBU units.
When I bought my S350 last year, they still had S Class units which are CBU (build Up), but this time around, the S Class is already CKD (indonesian assembled).
And I would say that i disagree if there's a saying that all Indonesian' MB's sales staff is arrogant and lazy. The one who helped me is very helpful, nice and friendly.

just in case you need a refferal as to whom you should be looking if you want to look around for Indonesia MB authorized dealer's units, just lemme know, and i will give you the contact number. Hate to see one person's mistake ruining the whole image.

Don't bust his *** too much, govt. taxes really screw us here. WIth the exchange rate a few months ago and the fact I bought my RUpiah when ut was cheaper I paid USD 110,000 for mine and trust me it would be more expensive in HongKong and even more expensive in Singapore. Don't take my word for it just go to Mercedes Singapore or Mercedes HongKong websites. You can see the prices for these on both of those sites. ALso beaware we bought our cars via a gray market dealer, I did ask for and get a quote for my E280 from Mercedes Indonesia and with the same options, they quoted and imported it from Germany (which the one I got was from Germany anyway)and I would have paid an additional 35,000 USD on top of what I paid with the gray marklet dealer. Screw MB Indonesia, biggest ripoff I have ever seen and the laziest and most arrogant ba$tards when it comes to selling cars I have ever seen.
I was referring to this quote when I stated that not all Indonesian MB;s dealer sales staff is arrogant.
