I am not certain of the designation but I have an MB Motorola phone from the 02 ML500 I had. Comes with the manual, belt clip, spare battery and charger. Let me know if this will work for you. Its the Cingular version.

There is also a dealer upgrade option that allows you to plug in a blue tooth puck and use whatever phone you have already.

Hey Wally:
It would help if we new the year of your car.
The Mikbox won't work on 2003 and newer 211's according to the Mikbox website. Be careful with buying a used v60. You need the newest release v60 (with GPS). The older v60's didn't have GPS and most carriers won't activate a non-GPS phone anymore. Many people on eBay and elswhere will be glad to sell you a genuine Mercedes v60, only to find out you can't get service for it.

.............if his car is a 2003 and newer, by far the best option is to get a dealer installed blue tooth puck and pair it with whatever phone he has.

This is a V60i for AT&T/Cingular. It does NOT have a SIM card and I don't know if you can activate it. I think that you can, but might get a surcharge of $5.
I got this phone in error and they told me to keep it. I am currently using my V3 Razor, but the Bluetooth is not as good as the direct hookup was. Also, the antenna being used with the V60 was the outside antenna and was much stronger than the antenna in the phone that is in the car.
send me a PM if you are interested in the phone,
Steve

If you are really looking for a V60i, I have a brand new one that has never been used. It also has the Mercedes star on it along with the manual and battery that has also never been charged. This is new in the box.
