Now I'm curious. Are my tires really runflats? Online it lists them as runflats, but it's seems redundant to have both runflats and a spare. Plus there's no TPMS on the MFD
You better RTFM. There is a battery under the hood.

Please point out where online you found that the tires are runflat. The links above in the thread don't indicate that.

Google searches showed the tires were listed everywhere as runflats. I just called one of the websites though and they said the tires are available as both regular tires and runflats. I'll check the sidewall.

AM, I'll take a pic of the battery that's in the trunk and post it up.

I know about that one. But there is one under the hood as well.

Have not even asked.... I've pushed it out of my mind since I signed the order in October. I know its coming. I'll just be "surprised" when the dealer calls Feb 25th - March 5th! LOL

The Michelin HX MXM4 is available in both run-flat ("ZP") and as a standard tire. Your car DOES NOT have run-flats. I would point this out to whoever told you otherwise, as it is a very dangerous assumption to make.

Right, you run those Michelins flat and all you will be doing is buying another set!!!!! I don't understand why Mfg's are still using that continental stuff, I can't stand them. Less expensive yes, but far more inferior.

New E350- go with the Michelin. In the past six years I've had two Mercedes with Michelins and two with Continentals. I had MANY flat tires with the Continentals. Because the cars were leased I replaced them with the same tires. The Continentals were not only less reliable, I found them more expensive to replace.

When asked, my dealer said "some come with Continentals, some with Michelins". I have had no problems with the Michelins on my current cars, and I too will insist upon Michelins in my future cars.

BMW FTW
New 07 sport package came with Michelin's they are the same pilot sports that came on the 06 none sport but in a different size.

Stay away from run flat tires like the BMW's have, luckily the 3 series suspension is built just for run flat tires but they still give a hard ride with more road noise that none RFT.

Hey. alright Barry ! You, of course, took pics that you're going to post shortly, right ?

Edit :Oh, and don't forget to put on the MBWorld license plate frame so that we
can ID it in the Costco parking lot.

Congrats Barry, enjoy it!

I'd love to hear that intake howl with the V8 at full song in front of the 7G

Still however :
Interesting, I would think that the "walk around" would be in "deliverable" condition.

Your comment, in another thread, re "next in line" may have to do with not seeing the car in it's final state.
Covered in white plastic, stickers and no hood ornament would be a bit of a letdown to anyone I think.

Love it That was actually the color combo I was hoping to find, but all the Granite cars had black interior, and I can never wait 4 months for a car.

Looks gorgeous
