They're for my 2004 E320 Wagon, non-AWD. I've been looking for a while and can't get over how classic these replicas are. I'd like a staggered set up--18x8 in front, 18x8.5 in the rear. Can you guys think of a reason why I shouldn't get that set up for the wagon? Or can you think of a better set of sizes? Maybe 8.5s in front and 9s in the rear? Too agressive? They make 8s, 8.5s, and 9s for the e320 fitment.

Thanks for the input. I have until monday to place the order...

No kidding? Thanks for the heads up. Velocity motoring makes a similar set, but they only have 8.5s.

BTW, according to their ebay profile, they've had quite a few satisfied clients...I do plan on paying with a visa...

1 reason... Weight... They will slow your car down and affect your handling. Come on you have an M3 you should know this...

Do NOT buy those wheels. They are very nice but they will bend on you. If you want to buy them still make sure you do buy them with AMEX. Good luck.

Thanks for the input.

I don't mind common...they're a classic look and I don't have the need to stand out above the masses. It's my wife's car.

As for wieght...they're 26 pounds...not too bad. My M3's OEM rims are in the same neigborhood.

Any reason why AMEX is better than VISA in protecting us?

But I get it...no one is really warming up to the idea that I buy these wheels...it's the kind of info I came here for.

You know these aren't OEM right?

They're basically Brabus replicas with a MB logo on them.

maybe you should check for replica wheel.

YOu get better service and better "warranty" and no waiting from a reputable store?

Replicas are scary. I've read enough stories on this forum to steer clear of them.

I had brabus reps on my c class for years. I have the same rims but black on my E class now. Never bent a rim or had any problems at all...

Yeah, I had these replicas on my ML350 for a year until I sold it. Never a problem. I know Velocity Motoring makes good replicas--they're one of the leading suppliers of the CSL-replica wheel most commonly used on E46 M3s. Most people on the m3forum, where I'm a moderator, love their replicas.

I would buy theirs, except that their wheel face is machined, just like the lip. I'd rather have painted spokes, with only the lip machined. I emailed them to see if they make a painted spoke version.
