Anyone running 245/35/19 ?
It's time for new tires and I'm thinking of going to 245 instead of 235 like I did last time for a little protection of the rims. I have a 4matic so this will be all around. Anyone think I'm gonna have a rubbing problem? Car is lowered with H&R.

My Summer wheels are 19X8.5 front and 19X9.5 rear. I'm running 245/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear with no rubbing at all. My car is also lowered. You'll be fine unless the 4Matic adds something whacky that I don't know about.

I think the 4matic just have a better turning ratio from what I recall. Looks like I'm ordering a set of 245

Honestly... I am running 19s too I don't think the wheel opening is a bad as 18s. It should be lowered but it is leased... so i don't want to mess with it. I think you should put them on and see for yourself. Here is my car with stock ride height and 19s...

I just got my bazooka back from service. Apparently, my bazooka is made by MB too! Seriously, you gotta lower it man. Unless you need the clearance for running over small farm animals or something.

Drop the car! It's very easy to return your car to factory height when your lease is up.

My wheels should come back from the shop by tomorrow or thursday with new rubber put on. 245 this time and I'm glade I ordered them this size.
They are not lower as some of you suggested, the 245 would actually sit higher than the 235 hence less fender gaps.
I still haven't figured out how to drop the front of the car more, I really hate the look of the flushed gap in the rear and a 2 or 3 finger gaps in the front. arghhh

We're getting mixed up, MR_Gearhead isn't lowered. My car was dropped with H&R almost right away after i got it.
There has been an on going discussion dropping the car (w/o airmatic) and the front appeaer to be higher due to the fender cut. I need to lower the front by just 1" and I'll be a happy camper. Did my springs myself and it didn't seem like the front pads can be any thinner.

Well I just ordered my mandrus rims.. staggard 19x8.5 with 245/35 front 19x9.5 275x30 for the back.
I will let you know how it feels.. after I get them on.. I want to see how much I have to drop my front and back end..
