still debating sport otpion, haven't seen black maple in person yet. Settled on silver exterior but wondering if silver/ash would be to similiar. Same problem with charcoal/maple. decisions, decisions.

 

I've seen silver w/ash - very nice in both day and night. Charcoal is a great contrast but a bit dark especially at night. Just my thoughts...

 

I don't have pics......but our dealer had in a cancelled loaded E500 that happened to be Capri blue/Ash Sport (so it had the black maple). This car was simply stunning, it was off the floor and delivered in 4 days.

Ash/black maple is very nice looking in person, not sure if photos will do it justice.

 

You will love the ash/black maple. No picture can tell you how beautiful it is. You have to see it in person - and it blends nicely too.

Looks great! The buttons on black maple looks not that obvious as the blur wood. I love it.

 

I have the black maple on my AMG and I must say that it's often hard to tell that the wood is not black plastic, except when there's direct light on it.
Looks great in the sun.
But at dusk and in the evening it certainly isn't my favorite wood color.
Just a warning.
The ash interior would help. Mine's anthracite, so it doesn't set off the wood.

 

I am also wondering what the stone would look like with the black maple. Has anoyne seen this? I am guessing that the two would be too contrasting......

I am looking to order capri blue with ash interior sport package....

 

ppl have posted pics, and yes they did look good......and it is tottaly contrasting...it wont be as popular as ash with spp, but it looks luxurious and sporty

 

also, is all the leather peroforated???? i thought it was, but cant remember
