Confused on wheel fitment for E-Class

I've been looking for new wheels for my E320/W211, upgrading from 16" to 17" or 18". And also considering used wheels. But what's the proper fitment? I've noted that the correct specs are 5x112 bolt pattern with ET35. But don't know whether any of the other MB bodies (C/CL/CLK/S/SL/SLK) would have the same specs and their wheels could be used for the W211? Its seems that the differences are minor, some plus/minus 5mm with ET30 or ET40. Moreover, would the older E-Class wheels fit onto the newer W211?

Thanks

Get a Mercedes OEM Wheel brochure from a dealer, you'll see wheels and specs for all models

Thanks
W210 has smaller bolts than W211 (12mm versus 14mm I believe).
