Bluetooth: Which phones work best? Blackjack experience?

Just got this installed in my 2007 E550, my blackjack (with goodlink) links up and makes calls just fine, but does not allow the phone book to load. Just wondering if anyone has had luck using the blackjack, and what phones work best (want to stay with the windows mobile family). Ideas?

thanks,

I had the same experience with the blackjack with the MHI bluetooth cradle.

I also had very poor reception with the blackjack inside the new car. I think it's because of the glass in the S-class. Reception is much better in my 300E.

So, to make a long story short, I decided to go with the two number approach and bought a V600 for the car.

Isn't that a pain in the but though? The whole reason I bought the bluetooth was so I could use one phone... Has anyone else been able to get a blackjack to work?

None of the smartphone's except for the Verizon Q! Ouch! I am actually considering the new Q when it comes out as I like Moto's products, if it's thin enough maybe I can fix two birds with one stone....

Well, it's not ideal. But I got frustrated with the reception issues. And most of the time I'm calling out, not receiving calls. So that works well for me with the address book in the car and the voice dialing.

Again, not ideal. But the v600, wired into the car and rooftop antenna does give really great sound quality and reception. Far better for me than when I tried the blackjack with bluetooth.

Has anyone tried loading your phonebook onto the MB systems once by putting your card into a Moto Razor and then using your other phone? Does the phone book stick? Just trying to troubleshoot...

I just picked up my 2007 E550 yesterday, and my Treo 700p from Verizon paired up fine. But of course no download of address book. The weird thing is that it downloaded my call log...
