However, my choice would be to not go over 18
as anything beyond that starts making a car look
“spindly.” (The opposite of a low, cool look.)
And, I do not like the wide spokes. More narrow
(and maybe curved) spokes would be my choice
for a “classier” look. (Like on the Sports, which
I believe really dress up the 350s and 550s!)
But, what do I know.

I believe Benz o Rama has a similar set for sale. Aren't they the Speedy Envy or something?
I agree with Jim, the E350 and E550 look great with the factory E55, E63 or BBS type wheel. The BBS LM is my fav... that is why I bought the knock off Luff M1s...
20's are hard to get right in my opinion. There is a very fine line on a Benz that says classy and well... you know.
Good Luck. Enjoy the ride!

Damn, I forgot I still had those things. They're just sitting boxed up in my storage waiting for a nice home. I guess I should try to sell them again..maybe ebay this time.
Personally, I think 19's is the way to go. They give you the best look without totally compromising the ride. It's definitely a bit stiffer, especially if you lower it too. I would think 20's would just give too harsh a ride. When I put my stock 17's back on for the winter months, the ride is so much smoother, obviously. So, 20's for looks only, 19's for a good balance of both comfort and looks, 18's and smaller for comfort.
By the way, my car is rollin' on 19's in my sig. Both cars!
