AMG Sports Package?
I am in the market for an E350. I noticed in the picture thread, some people have the AMG Sports Package. I don't see that offered any longer. Is that the case or can it be special ordered?
I do see a regular sports package, but thats not the same thing.

E550 4MATIC
That is correct. I was also told at the dealership that Sienna Black (the color of the E350 Saks Edition) will be available. I think that the Saks Edition E-Class this year was one of the most beautiful Mercedes I've ever seen. You could make your own next year if this information is true.

Oh Dear......
Please say you're not serious about rebadging as an E63.....I learned a lot from asking if it would be appropriate to put an AMG badge on my E500 w/ AMG goodies, but this idea is much worse......

For a long time MB themselves put an AMG badge on the rear of the car if it had the sports package. I don't think they do it anymore.
ProV1 -- a lot of the other features of the E63 are also missing .. such as the 6.3L V8

Indeed it IS a beautiful car. But - from the front,
I can’t see any difference.
Except - that I'm getting the Sport and I can see
the wheels are different from the Sport.
So, apparently there’s no difference in the front?
Is the grill wider? I’m just trying to see what this
edition has over the regular Sport.

I found a Saks Fifth Ave E350 on eBay w/ detailed pictures, but I can't tell the diff between Sienna Black and regular Black.
Is Sienna Black basically Obsidian Black?

2007 E500 AMG Pack (Columbite Black) / 2006 ML 320CDI AMG Pack / 2005 E350 Sport (sold)
The AMG Pack has been available in Australia since July 2006
I ordered mine in January 2007 - delivered May 2007
The AMG Pack provides everything you get in the standard Sports Pack plus AMG front and rear (standard Sports side skirts) AMG 18" wheels, AMG exhaust tips, AMG steering wheel with paddles, AMG floor mats front and rear.
Sienna Black is named Columbite Black in Australia and apart from having the red/brown flecks in the sunlight the paint looks much deeper than Obsidian Black in the shade.
Also the AMG Pack front is slightly different to the AMG 63 front which is more aggressive and has 'shark gills' at the side. The side skirts are also deeper on the AMG 63.

Thanks, it was on the back of the car when I picked it up, but I think the dealer put it on, when they delivered my ML320 with AMG Pack it had an AMG badge as well.

Actually, MB used to put AMG on the rear of cars w/ the sports pkg direct from the factory.

I think 2008 deliveries have started already. When my car was delivered the dealer said it was an 08 spec car...I was sceptical but a few minor parts have changed like the auto dimming mirror (both internally and externally) and the rear vents for the 4 zone aircon are now in the B pillars.
I still wasn't sure, but then I noticed that the owners manual has 'Revised 03/2007' on the back cover and I know that manuals are only revised following vehicle upgrades, but I could be wrong?
Also watch out for a new colour called 'Palladium Silver' a new silver/grey I have noticed on the official German MB website.
