Is this a bearing issue?
While driving with driver window down, going in a straight line, next to curb on the left side of a double lane road with raised median:
I hear a very high pitch squeal that increases and decreases with speed. Disappears below 25 mph when stopping. So it sounds like coming from the driver side. Do not hear when on the right side of the two lane. Sound bouncing back from the curb.
Any ideas.

Usually if it is a bearing, if you zig-zag the wheel left to right within a second a few times, if it is a bearing, the noise wil get louder & softer. Sometimes there is a noise when the wheel is turned in one direction & silent in the other direction.

If you stop the car, but it in neutral and rev the engine slightly does it still make the noise. ? If yes,, see note below.
Or.. If while driving and hearing the noise if you put it in neutral and coast a bit does it stop. If it stops it could be a drive belt acc. on the engine. If not most likely brakes.
