The only things ever put into or on the 300E that didn't have an M-B part number are tires and 15W-50 Mobil 1.

I wouldn't be afraid to take this car anywhere in North America.

The color is Teal and the interior is a beautiful cream leather than looks like new.

I'd intended to sell this car when we bought the '04 E320 but I simply can't give it up.

The only time I get to drive it is on vacation. I get to drive it 5,500 miles and she gets to drive it across the Mackinaw Bridge while I do my best to avoid looking down

I see you've replaced the Volvo with something better. As for my new car, the last one was only 3 years old when I sold it and for me that's barely broken in.

Also, I'm in Grand, not Sun City. Those folks over there are REALLY old

It's only got 78K on it. Until we moved to Arizona, I only drove it in the summer and only on vacation. We had a 190D that was our daily driver.

When the M-B Club had a high mileage contest some time ago, there was a guy in Ohio that had two 190D's. If I remember correctly, one of them had well over 300K on it and the other one well over 400K. Those W201's were really bulletproof.

BTW.. does the new E have the feature where the seat and steering wheel moves to let out easier when you take the key out?

No, it only has the tilt up steering wheel and they've got rid of things unique to a key. If you can't make it work, just eliminate it.
