MOST of You Will HATE Me For This!!
I DEFINITELY don’t agree with you on that! Almost ALL experts agree
that Corvettes are - by far - the best sports car value in America!
I would NEVER be without a Corvette! Drive one. You’ll LOVE it!

Not wanting to go off topic, but I have owned six Vettes between 1991 and 2007. I traded my last one (2004 Lingenfelter built) for my Grand Cherokee SRT-8 early this year and have never looked back. Compared to MB and other competitors, I do find the C6 to be overpriced. Just my opinion.
OK, your turn to hate me.
Check the links below and this is just for the LS430/460. Did not even check the other models
E class harsh shifting - Lexus Version http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums...howtopic=39296
E Class Wind noise issue for some - Lexus wind noise http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums...howtopic=33572
MB Rriding rough - Lexus Riding Rough http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums...howtopic=38421
I think any car will have its issues today - I doubt we can say Lexus is a better car and offers more\better quality. MB does offer a higher level of safety that I think goes further than any other car, along it it is the handling and German engineering - most of us bought it for that reason.
Yes its pricey, but for the safety and the kick *** look (not to mention to be valet parked out front of a restaurant and not far back with a Saturn
) - I think its worth every depreciating penny.
To me the E is more valuable because of subjective values. I love the styling. I love the dash board. I can't say that of the LS4xx and I think the BMW's have ugly dash boards.
Size matters? For YEARS some have ‘tried’ to relate the purchase of certain
cars to the buyer’s “man-part.” Big car .. little .. you know. That conclusion
would mean that EVERY male big car driver on the road is a “size challenged”
man! And, every tiny car .. an appendage+ guy! Now does that seem
reasonable?
One “could” conclude that this effort to degrade successful people who can
buy the fancy cars stems from jealousy. (No one on here.)
At 16 I got my pilots license. At 17 I bought my first airplane for $350. An
old ratty army surplus Aeronca. Some thought I was showing off. I didn’t
care! (Later went to Air Force). I’ve had a LOT of cars, airplanes and
motorcycles. Bought them all for ME! To please MYSELF! I Never gave a
damn about what others thought! (That didn’t always win friends.) My vette
with loud pipes, pleases ME!
So, again - most humbly of course - I suggest that old wives tales can be
greatly misapplied!
