Our Wagon on 20's...

Hi Forum --

Just got back from the tire shop and thought I'd share a pic of our '07 E350 Wagon on 20" O.Z. Superleggera HLT's... Hope you all approve

I have a question about the current W211 wagons. I guess you can't get it without the third row seat in the US but can you remove the seat and use the storage area for valuables?

It seems like a lot of wasted space used up the third row seats.

looks interesting, you should tint the front window to match... it looks awful with it being clear

...nice wheels...

tint all windows, then smoke all tailights and front corner lamps...then you'll have it all blacked out!!!

looks pretty nice... I too would darken the front windows with at least a light tint... I'd also change the front marker lights to clear.

Our wagon in Canada does not have the third row of seats. It has EASYPACK, if I have the name right, instead. (The powered, sliding shelf.)

Is there room under the shelf to store things? I assume there is an opening there where the 3rd seat would normally go?

If so, does it have a lock?

Looking at the German W211 Owner's Manual, there is something called the Stowage Box as well as the extending loading floor. Both are options that would make the wagon more useful.

It appears that neither is available in the US. Just another reason to wonder what MBUSA is thinking.

No lock, and barely any room for storage, unless you were to take out the spare tire and replace it with a TireFit package.

Our wagon also has the storage "box". Is that not standard in the US?

So far as I know all US wagons get the third row seat and 4Matic. With the third row seat, I don't think that either the Stowage Box or the sliding loader is possible.

It appears that MBUSA have decided that anyone buying a wagon must have 5 kids and only drives in bad weather.

It was the third row that had turned me off getting an E-wagon for so long. We don't have ANY kids. We just ski and bike a lot, and cringe at the very thought of buying an SUV!

(BTW: Canada gets the 4matic as standard equipment too.)

Bad angle :)

I must have shot the wagon in some unusual light -- the front windows are tinted -- i think 35% front 15% rear -- I can only do a light tint as I have bad luck with cops and tints...

As I look at the wagon now, I find it kinda looks like a squashed Porsche Cayenne or Infiniti FX -- for better or worse...

Cheers,

Sasha
