Bluetooth - Microphone quality
The quality of the incoming voice sounds great through the comand/speakers.
Does anyone else have an issue with microphone quality? My comand has the latest s/w btw.
Thanks
JM
It seams that our 2003 E class dont have a MHI (didnt come out until 2005). We have the CP211 Module (which is part of the teleaid).
So if my sound quality from the microphone is very poor, is this something that is fixed with a software update to the CP211?
Anyone?
Thanks
John
I will also try a Treo and Razr tonight to see if it sounds better...
My BB works, just the microphone quality sucks...

EDIT - I dont have a Voice Control Module, where i can issue voice commands to change the radio etc. My 2003 is stock..no V60 installed phone. I just installed the puck with tail, and did the version coding. Thats it.

And i should mention the DTB P-B-82.70/338b ?
Is it just a swap out? or is there version coding needed?
Thanks very much for your input..

Simple process, out with old in with the new - no coding.

Confused on your earlier post - if a M/B did NOT come with the phone package, does it still have a mic? So all that's needed is the wiring bit in the center console, the bluetooth puck, and a reflash?
Thanks,

If I understood you correctly, you are out of warranty less than 30 days. A quick phone call to MBUSA CAC 800-367-6372 may override the dealer’s decision and approve a goodwill repair. Even though the part installs easily, keep in mind if you receive a goodwill repair and a problem should present itself during repair or after it will be resolved in the process. Furthermore, your dealer’s service/repair policy (i.e.: 90 days, 1 year, etc.) will extend the warranty period at no cost.
