What is sport package on 2004 E500 4matic?
I'm looking to buy an 04 or 04 E500 4matic. I see several list with sport package. Can someone please confirm what comes in sport package. I thought it was dual exhuast and a lowered suspension. Can a non sport be lowered? Would that make the suspension equal to the sport model?

Silver 2004 E500 4Matic
Bi-Xenon Headlamps, Headlamp Washers
Black Birds Eye Maple Trim, Blue Tinted Glass
LED Brake Lights, Sculpted Side Skirts,
Front Bumper, Rear Apron,
17" Sport Wheels with 245/45 R 17 tires
Ventilated Brake discs
Airmatic supension comes on the E500. I think E500 sits a little lower than the E350 because of the airmatic. The E500 4matic sits higher than both cars. The sport package has nothing to do with it.
The E500 does have dual exaust but not the tips that stick out from under the bumper.
The car can be lowered using the STAR system at the Mercedes dealership or a few other aftermarket options.

Not sure if there is any difference between the Canadian and US models but mine also had White face instrument clusters, silver shift knob and silver console plate instead of burl.

Airmatic would still sit slightly lower than the Avantgarde with steel springs (enabled by the self leveling capability).

I have avantgarde and sport package, and I noticed that if you have sport package, you have Big brake, and you don't have Airmatic.
I also have 18" sport wheels, sport steering wheel, aluminium billet pedals, dual exhausts, and etc.

Airmatic in Europe is a completely independent option, on cars that don't have it standard. Your post referred to an E280, I assumed that has not been on sale in the US, if however you are from the US, I'm certainly confused.

Where are you from? The Euro sports package is quite a different thing from the US Sports model. This was about a 2003 car, at that time the Euro sports option did not exist.
