Got some new shoes...

Finally got some new shoes on my ride. I went with the classic Brabus type Monoblock VI's. 20x8.5 w/ Toyo 245/30/20 fronts, 20x9.5 w/ Toyo 285/25/20 rears.

20's look absolutely fantastic on our cars but man does the ride suffer, especially when lowered. Also, are the tires directional? If so, be prepared to replace them frequently due to uneven wear. That's the problem I have with mine. Can't rotate directional tires on staggered wheels.

Enjoy, they look outstanding. There's another board member who's car looks identical to yours.

Yeah, I struggled with the whole 19's vs. 20's thing. The ride isn't actually that bad...I thought it would be worse than it actually is.

My car will look real different in about a month so...

when they start to wear take them in and switch the tires to the rims on the other side, you'll get more life out of them. usually buys you a decent amount of time, over two or three sets of tires you'll save buying one set

I have to give props to Al and Darwin over at Sonic Motorsports in Santa Clara! They are taking good care of me and they definitely know what they are doing over there!
