does anyone have the schematic for non-airmatic suspension?

Was browsing around and found this little drawing, I'm about to replace my stock struts tomorrow with some bilstein HD and H&R.

Theres one of the front floating around on the forums, ill try to find it for you. Do you have any specific questions? I'd be more than happy to answer them for you.

For the front I made a special socket (ground it down) and held onto it with a vice grips in order to get the top hat off.

On the rear you're going to have to take the star headed bolt off where the A-arm meets the sub frame. I didnt realize this at first and it caused me a lot of headache.

I installed the H&R the last time myself but did replace the stock struts. But now shocks are shot so I have to replace it.. Since the new struts only come as tube and it seems like the front perch on the bilstein are adjustable I want to make sure I put the old perch on correctly.

I also forgot the exact layout, of how things are under there. Just want to have the schematic just in case.

Mine is a 4matic but I'm using struts and springs from 2wd

I have an older WIS (2005), and print to Distiller to create the PDF's. You're welcome, put them to good use.

WIS from 2005? Sounds like a pirated version? I'm no MB police but I'd suggest being a bit careful when distributing MB copyrighted material.
