My next step will be to remove Java and just install the latest without updates and see if that works.

Still not working!
The best part is that when it fails they direct you to a page that tells you EXACTLY what to do, except it has not been updated to match the current IE "tool" menu, so it is useless.
I work with MANY online databases and information systems. There is no reason in the world for this to have been designed to be so picky, and there is even less reason for it not to have been fixed after the issue was found.
You are right, it is not the developer!
It is the manager who did not send him packing long ago!

FOR ALL OF THE PEOPLE THAT CANNOT GET THIS TO WORK:
It will work with windows 7 on chrome, etc. Go to this page to download the latest JAVA: http://www.java.com/en/download/chrome.jsp?locale=en
Once you've installed the JAVA restart your browser and launch EPC again. It will go through its component installs and will launch after its installed those.

Mine started working about 2 months ago.
I had made some settings changes a while back that did not work, but maybe it was those in combination with some update that was pushed.

For those with registration problems and getting the error message
THERE WAS AN ERROR PROCESSING YOUR TRANSACTION. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER
below is the email reply I got from the EPCnet Online support team
We have been informed that there is an issue with the third party vendor that processes the address verification/billing for the subscriptions/renewals. The combination of Discover or American Express cards and a no charge subscription can cause an error. This issue is being investigated, but there is no timeline for resolution. If you try to create/renew a paid subscription with any of the possible credit card types or a no charge subscription with Visa or MasterCard and still get an error message, please let us know which type of subscription with which type of credit card.
I retried with a VISA card and it went through. Browser was chrome with java jre7 (1.7.0_40).
I haven't tried to login and use it yet

And please update and or post the solution to get on a illustrated break down. I'm aware that there is not a lot of diy and or techs. But if we can't get access to this then other than paying some one PayPal and or get a discount from this site to share their accessed credentials via pm etc.... I'm a new be to posting now since I'm chasing faults on various models and tis site has provided valuable suggestions also. But this is a simple fix for everyone...
